This is my personal website, a central location for everything I find interesting or relevant.
It's a hobby project and a learning experience, always under construction.
It follows principles of minimalism and simplicity. Everything is implemented and maintained without reliance on website builders, frameworks or other overhead.
Currently the website uses no cookies, JavaScript or PHP. This might change as the site grows with minimal reliance on client or server-side scripts being introduced, but I have no plans to introduce cookies or other junk.
I don't shy away from modern conventions and standards when working on this website. Therefore, despite it's appearance, backwards compatibility with legacy browsers is not a primary consideration and I can't guarantee functionality on them.
I'm currently working on a series of scripts used to automate tasks such as rebuilding the navigation/footer across all pages or automatically adding blog posts to the RSS feed. I plan on sharing my progress and the scripts used on the blog.

Tech Stack
As I prefer the flexibility and freedom of hosting my website on a VPS over relying on a host.
I use a Vultr VPS running Debian 12 with Nginx. The domain has been purchased on Namecheap and the certificate is handled with Certbot. Cloudflare is utilised for better security, stability & content delivery.
To Do
Rolling Goals
- Join more webrings, start a button wall to showcase my favourite websites.
- Write more blog posts. I have ideas for posts about various topics with a few early drafts, but it can be difficult to put everything together into posts.
- Write a series of posts about setting up a website like this one from scratch, basic hardening & security practices.
- Figure out a format for writing media reviews. I always wanted to start putting my thoughts on anime & film to figurative paper.
- Improve CSS, make the site more responsive for mobile devices.
Goals
- Redo the blog page structure for better organisation & presentation. Structure the individual posts in div blocks, add categorisation.
- Write more extensively about the setup/purpose of my computer collection.
- Automate creation of new blog posts & updating RSS feed. I want to achieve this with my own scripts rather than relying on a pre-existing static site generator.
